Default Maximum care extended warranty

So I have been researching costs of the chrysler maximum care extended warranty for the durango. I live in florida so the warranty prices are regulated so the prices are kind of high. I found chryslerwarrantys.com selling their warranty's for a decent price. I called my local dealership and they verified that it is a legit warranty and dodge dealership in wisconsin. They are selling a max care warranty 0 deductible 7yr 60,000 mile warranty for $1,400. What do you guys think about buying the warranty for this vehicle. I wouldn't be considering buying it but since it is a factory warranty and I plan on keeping the vehicle for 6 years I figured I would look into it.

How much do you drive? That works out of roughly 8500 miles a year. I typically put 15k miles a year on our daily driver, so 60k would only be 4 years.

I'm also considering the Max Care warranty, but looking for the lifetime version. Cheapest I've found so far is $2795 from http://www.extended-warranty-pro.com/

I'm in FL and I purchased the maxcare lifetime for ours from chryslerwarranty.com for $2050 with $100 deductible. I plan on keeping our D a long time.... For now, it's my wife's car, averaging 15-18k/yr, but in time, it will replace my current car, a 14yr old wagon.

When I log onto my account at dodge owners site, it does now show I have a warranty good for 999,999 miles and expires in 2095.

It appears its truely not "lifetime" its capped at 7 years or 100k miles.

keep in mind that if you woul have purchased it at the time of buying the vehilce they are also negotiable. i got the 5 years 85k for about 1000 when i purchased my d last aug.

The lifetime is lifetime, well, 999,999 or 2095. I don't expect to reach either limit.

There is a clause in the lifetime warranty that should any warranty repair ever exceed the value of the car, you'll then just get that dollar amount, and the warranty is over.

Where did you find it for $2095? I tried www.chryslerwarranty.com, but got what looks like a generic search screen with no help in pricing a warranty.

http://www.chryslerwarrantys.com

Give them your email, don't buy right away, get a quote, and they send you an email with a code good for a discount.

Got it, thanks! After the code, they're quoting me $2070 for lifetime MaxCare with $100 deductible.

How do you guys think the 3rd gen durango is going to hold up. I was just looking at the 0 deductible and nothing else. I didnt want all these little things to keep breaking and i keep needing to drop 100 everytime i go into the dealer.

My Durango came with a 3/36,000 mile bumper to bumper and a 5/100,000 mile power train warranty. I am sure everyone else that has a Durango has the same warranty. You guys really need protection beyond this? Not questioning your needs. I just think a warranty beyond what's included is kind of going overboard. After the 3 years you could replace anything not covered by the power train warranty for much less than what a extended warranty cost. Just my 2 cents.
