Back from the dealer...unsure if the flash worked. We tested it in the parking lot, with the temp set to low and remote start with no luck. It may have something to do with it being 60 degrees outside today. It may not be warm enough for the ac to kick on. I plan to try the heat tomorrow morning when it will be in the upper 30s. We will see...if it doesn't work, back to the dealer we go.

We also tried another 2013 they had on the lot, it acted the same way. I don't if they are working correctly or both have the same issue.

If it is not hot enough or cold enough, the comfort system will not activate. It has to be below 40 or above 70, I believe.

You could always point a hair dryer at the sensor.

It was in the mid 30s this morning and we had the temp set to auto at 76 degrees. The wife said the car was warmer after running a bit.

Is the display supposed to light up when the car is remote started? Our display does not light up until you open the driver side door. You can also hear the fan speed increase and blow more air when you open the driver door. I'm just unsure if that is "normal" operation.

The temp display doesn't illuminate, but the Amber LEDs for the heated seats and steering wheel do illuminate. Best to verify that way.

Anyone else get the flash done? Did it work or not work?

Sounds iffy from funatic's experience. I have an appointment with dealer next week to get mine flashed. Hope it's a success.

Might have been in before the new flash came out though

I'm still not convinced mine is working. I am waiting on a friend to return on home with his 2011 WK2 so I can compare his comfort settings to mine.

This morning it was 45 outside, I again had the air set to 72 and auto; nothing happened, little to no air was blowing and the heated seats did not come on. bummer

Somebody said that the outside temperature has to be below 40 or above 70 for it to work, so in both of your tests (60 and 45) you were in the range where it won't do anything.

I have been paying closer attention to mine since I have seen this thread. I do not have the comfort package but I do have factory remote start. I have only needed heat in the morning and have tried three different ways. I have left it off and it is chilly when I get in. When I have left the temp controls to auto and manual at 80 degrees, the display does not light up but there is a noticeable difference when I get in. Yes, the display lights up when I open the drivers door. My thinking is if the blower motor ran when it was first started at full
blast, that it could be somewhat cold when you got in the car. My conclusion is that the it is heating the interior but the speed is turned down so it does not blast cold air in when you initially start the vehicle.
