Where did you purchase all of these parts from? I googled "68029522AA DUST BOOT" and didn't find anything on this part.

Also, did you install the new shock set or did you have dodge do it?

thanks

Thanks for your reply but I'm a little confused by your response. I want to order all of the parts necessary (from Mopar Super Center if that's where all the parts are for the shock replacement)

The issue i'm running into is the "Dust Boot part # 68029522AA" This part # is not listed at the Mopar Super Center nor when I google search it. Are you sure this # is correct?

I just want order everything I need so I can finish what I start.

Thanks again.

Hi all, haven't experienced the Clunk yet (fingers crossed) but had a conversation with Bilstein in CA. Although they do not make anything for the D or the GC yet, they DO review the search results on their web page to determine priority of what they develop next by demand. SO, if you go to http://cart.bilsteinus.com/ and plug in your info, maybe we can create enough of a buzz to get a solution sooner than later.
Even without the noise, I'm not satisfied with the shocks on these rigs. Compression is needlessly stiff and rebound is soft and not controlled as well as it could be.

****THREAD UPDATE****

I took the D into the dealer for oil change on Monday. I asked them to recheck the clunk / rattle in the rear that sounds like a worn/ busted shock. A little background: I was having this same issue last year when the dealer replaced the load leveling shocks just after purchase, there was some improvement, but over time the clunk / rattle returned. The service advisor said there is a TSB with updated shock part numbers. this might be it: http://www.wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_1700513.pdf.

I won't get the truck back until tomorrow. I will post an update and the results.

Dealer could not get shocks until yesterday. I dropped off last night. Will post impressions later today / tomorrow.
