adding oem entertainment system
Franco, I like the radar mount on the mirror. I want to do the same thing with my detector. I also think hardwiring it will give it a cleaner look. I think you can run the power to the back of the mirror--I just don't which connector on the harness in the mirror you need to hook it into. I guess you could use a meter and check to see which lead has power/which is ground, when the car is on.
Otherwise nice install!

I found one on eBay for $35 (don't think the guy knew what he had). The most expensive component was the mounting bracket. Think it was about $150 from the dealer. The hardest thing for me was to find a connector to build the harness. I have a complete IP harness from the junk yard, and not one of the connectors from it would work. Found one in an audio shop in a guy's junk drawer. After that, it was plug and play. My headliner was not quite the correct contour; but make it work with some cutting and finessing.
I was going to post my latest mod, two alpine amps, 4 new door speakers and new 8" kicker sub but instead I took everything out yesterday. It sounded really good for a couple of months. It looks like I am jumping into a 2014 Hemi D soon. I will post photos and a review of the new radio. I am also curious to see if dodge change the sub in the 2014.
By the way guys, I posted the 2012 alpine system wiring code on another page... I also made a diagram using MS Paint.
