So I was cleaning out the DD and noticed the feel of the "leather" on the 3rd row is different from the 1st and second rows. Then I realized it wasn't leather at all. I have the Leather Interior Group not the Nappa option.
I tried searching but didn't see anything on this. I can't be the first to notice this.
Honestly, I ll take good vinyl over leather any day of the week. Ease of cleaning and durability are key for me. I have been checking out the new Mazda 6 touring specifically because it has vinyl instead of cloth or leather and it looks and feels like leather.
Leather as it wears generally looks crappy and requires a lot of maintenance. I keep my cars for long periods of time so vinyl works for me, it was on my Mustangs(65-69) my first Mercedes 190e, however my second Mercedes and the Jag have it, looks(looked) good still, however you still see the wear. The Durango has cloth and I love it.
