Appt with the dealer was today. They kept it all day and changed out the license plate bulb for me as a "courtesy" and gave me a 70$ credit for it so I would have a bill of $0. They also did the steering column recall while they have it and so they got to bill dodge for that(which is probably why they gave me the bulb)

It's 12 months old and 40k miles and I guess they thought it was the right thing to do. But they made it clear that the next one was on my dime.

Dodge needs to rethink having 2 of these expensive *** bulbs for the license plate.

 

got these off amazon for my 2011, I think I put them in both the taillights and the license plate lights. can't beat $10 for 10 leds!

 

The 14 uses a sealed led with a circuit board that is integral.

Talk about over doing it.
