Default MVP extended warranty plans

Just ticked over 36k and have been planning on buying the Maximum Care plan. It's around $1700.

Looking for some insight from those that have purchased or used the plans.

Any nightmare stories of not being covered for certain parts or work?

Default MVP extended warranty

The Maxcare Plan basiclly mirrors the New Car Warranty. Exceptions include maint items such as Brake pads, rotors spark plugs, wires, light bulbs, exhaust, paint and interior trim.

Read the fine print. Carefully.

One other thing, MVP covers what it covers. There is no bending of the rules or goodwill. You will also have a deductible. That said, I am a Chrysler retiree who worked with MVP on a regular basis and I have a contract on both of my vehicles.

I went with these guys and am very pleased. I have used it 4 times or so. I am up to half of what I paid for it in repair cost. I am sure that over the lifetime of the vehicle it will pay itself back, and even more...

Service depts. don't like Maxcare. It pays chitty warranty time to work on old crappy cars that should be out of "warranty"

Walk in with an aftermarket extended warranty and you'll get to the front of the line.

Walk in with a Lifetime Maxcare and you'll be lucky to get it looked at within a week.

It's simple math. Money pays bills.

Good feedback, but in my eyes it still gets fixed for only $100.00. I can wait, plan covers rental too so it will keep the miles off mine while they have it.

I understand. It's just a dynamic the customer needs to be aware of. The other thing that is a pretty big deal is the fact that if a technician knows the car has a Maxcare, they will not upsell anything they see wrong that would likely be covered.

You ever wonder why so many things seem to happen AFTER a warranty expires? Well, there you go lol.

Rental is always good to have.

No real surprise on how things are handled at any dealership no matter what brand or type of vehicle these days. Warranty or no warranty, extended or otherwise.

It's the mind set. As TNTech said "Money Talks".

AND you will only get what you pay for...............maybe.
