Yes it's a power wire, the picture is my own rig. Imo, they augment the cai very nicely, regardless of the brand or hamemade cai.

 

How much are you making and selling them for?

Home made here. It uses the existing resonator but with a cone filter turned down behind the headlight. First was full length (hated the sound under all but light load), then decided to put the hemi hat back and cut the CAI in half. I like this setup better because it gives a better mount for the intake temp sensor and does not sound as loud and "bleet-ey" IMO. Lets the exhaust do the talkin!

quick question, would a cai for an 03 fit an 06, same motor

 

Same engine size? TB/manifold location is the same. Might be some differences regarding washing and overflow reservoirs.
