Can I fit Pacesetter Long Tubes on my '04 1500 4.7 Quad Cab 4WD? I know I will have to move the cats, and I live in a state with no emissions-type inspections. The only reason I ask is because I see on websites the only option available is for the Hemi of that year's models. If I select this option, will the headers fit?
There is resonance with the Dynomax under load but i removed my carpet for ST vinyl floor so that my be a contribution.
I had been use to more quieter setups (prior was Y pipe to 3" si/so Dynomax Superturbo w/ full carpet interior) so this current setup is a LOT louder than i thought it was. In addition the 3400 stall does not help in keeping the exhaust tone down when leaving from idle.
How are you liking your Mag' X setup?
I have a 3" Magnaflow X sitting in the garage that i am going to have put in just for a change if it will help in lowering the noise level. Think the case length is a little longer but have to check the specs again.

My Mag x pipe muffler has a great sound. Drones some under a load, but sounds so sweet I don't care. I also had an original sido super turbo, on my truck . Now there's a quiet setup, in and outside of the truck
For the person who was wondering about an x flowmaster muffler, since flowmasters are chambered, I see no way fo them to make an x pipe muffler, without deviating from their chambered design to a more straight thru design
