Is there a chance you can return it because it will not work for you? And what do they mean by "non-standard stock ECM"

Not sure if you saw my post, Weed, about the place I bought it from and me finding a lot of complaints about them after I placed my order? Well some of the main complaints are about returning things - they charge a 25% restocking fee and a lot of people complained of never getting their money back or a replacement item. I'll keep it before I pay somebody 25% for something they are just going to sell to somebody else.

SC's hasn't told me what's different about my truck. Maybe they don't even know yet. Hammer posted something the other day about 03 and early 04's not having consistent stock programs and companies like SC's having fits trying to figure out what works with them. I haven't even checked the build date on my truck but I didn't buy it until late 04. All I know is when the FP saves the stock files, it is throwing a code that SC's says means that it doesn't believe the files it just saved are truly stock so it won't let itself load a SC's tune. Ron Rapp told me not to worry that they "will get it to work" and I believe that. But I'd really just rather sell it right now because I need the funds.

Would you be willing to trade it for a DSP u7137 and get something maybe you can use? Maybe that will work for you.

Weed, LOL, can't figure you out man. First you tell me I'm selling the FP for too much and then tell me the one at a lower price was a 1 shot deal that is no longer offered. Then you seem to be offering to trade me for your DSP and now you say no you can't do it. I'm getting a laugh at least.

I'm not interested in a trade. Need the cash. But thanks.

Hello. I'm new to the forum, and just purchased an 04 hemi 4x4. I've been looking online at programmers, and can'd decide between the 3815 and the 3865. I'm basically looking for best bang for the buck between mileage improvements (70 mile round trip commute daily), and some additional performance. The truck has a dynomax dual exhaust, and a K&N FIPK. Any suggestions would be appreiated.

The 3865 is the second generation and will have the trans options we're beta testing. The 3815 does not have the memory to handle the new options.

I've gained .5MPH with my moose with my current shift schedule.
