You need to have it programmed into your custom tune file, there is no user option for turning it off.
1. - The trans options are NOT in the quick adjust menu, you need to reload your tune (performance tune) in order to get to the performance tcm tune, then there is a "modify" option after that, either at or before the load tune screen, that you can go in and adjust shift points. Depending on year, you are limited to what you can adjust. 03-04 have 0 trans tuning options, 05-06 have WOT, 1-2,2-3 partial upshifts and 3-2,2-1 partial down shifts, and 07+ only have the WOT and the 1-2,2-3, upshifts.
2. - The throttle option increases or decreases the throttle sensitivity. Basically it makes the gas pedal a little more touchy, and either decreases or increases the lag time from the time you hit the gas to the time it goes. If you have a ported throttle body, be carefull how sensitive you make it as it can become to touchy.

Not sure what you mean? I am in the update tool screen on the downloader. The instructions don't say anything about putting the dp into any mode, just says plug it in, plug n the computer cable, and the ds automatically found the tool. I don't remember having to do anything different the last time I updated it... I click the update tool button and select the 09r12 file. It starts the process. The dp says do you wish to update tool (not a direct quote as it isn't in frog of me here at work), click continue on the dp, than it gives me the weird can not downgrade....

The first time I tried it I hadn't returned it to stock (forgot you had to). The downloader told me to return to stock and try again. I ran out and returned it to stock and tried again. That's when it gave me the error. Tried restarting the downloader and reinstalling. Still didn't work. I can try the entire process again, just trying to figure out what I am missing. I am pretty sure I used the correct button on the downloader.

Also check the baud rates on the controller and the downloader to make sure they match. Check the controller one first, its on one of the main menus (tool info I think), should be (at least for mine) 9600(?) and then change it on the dsdownloader to match. Had that issue when loading the custom tune files, it get through half and not finish

Going to get a CMR Custom TCM tune hopefully this weekend. Up the "Drive" Shifts to 6500rpm at WOT, firm up the shifts, change the Tq Converter lock/unlock, And hopefully turn the "Tow/Haul" button into a "Race" version that will only do 1-3, and be slightly more aggressive.
