I adjusted the tranny settings to what Truckin posted. Although my numbers didn't line up exactly with them. The tuner would not let me get the exact numbers.

This is where I am at:
Downshifts
2-1 @ 5% 1323.95
2-1 @ 80% 3003.95
3-2 @ 45% 4103.95
3-2 @ 55% 4753.91
3-2 @ 75% 5251.84

Upshifts
1-2 @ 20% 1827.94
1-2 @ 30% 2791.91
1-2 @ 60% 5051.84
1-2 @ 80% 5349.83
2-3 @ 15% 1706.28
2-3 @ 25% 2103.48
2-3 @ 60% 5290
2-3 @ 80% 5450

WOT Shifts
1-2 5830
2-3 5750

Rev Limiter 6100

MDS off
Idle RPM AC off in D +50rpm
Idle RPM AC off in P/N +100rpm
Idle RPM AC on in D +50rpm
Idle RPM AC on in P/N +100rpm

What is the Pressure Calibration setting?
Is there a transmission shift firmness Adjustment?

Thanks guys

Sorry about all the posts, but this thing is awesome!

For those of you who log your info, what parameters are the best to watch? There are so many to choose from. I am not sure what half of them mean???

Also has anybody found better settings for the tranny for towing? I was just curious if anybody really dialed theres in for towing heavy loads.

How do you know if the fuel or spark settings need to be adjusted? I just don't want to blow the thing up! All I did is load the 93 tune and tweak the tranny settings. Thanks again

I'm also curious on how to adjust the shift firmness. I also just got the diablo and am very pleased with it. I originally started with the 93 tune which makes the truck a monster and also improves the mileage. Then I tried the 87 tune and it still gives a bit of performance, mostly just gives a smoother power feel. But with the 87 I am getting much better mileage, around 3-4 mpg better. I will save the 93 tune for towing. So is there anyone out there that can tell us how to increase the shift firmness? It's a bit firmer when on the gas, but I'm usually not racing around. I would like to make it firmer all around if at all possible. Also can I use the programmer to make my fog lights go on with my brights? Thanks

I think the fog light thing is a dealer only option. I went to the dealer and had to sweet talk them into doing it. They have to set it to "import mode" so the fogs stay on. I wish you could do that with the tuner, but I dont think you can. I hope I am wrong

You got better milage with the 87 tune than with the 93? I wonder which tune is the best for milage out of the 3? I wish you could run 93 and get the best milage.

After going through all the options, I don't think the shift firmness is an option for our trucks.......damn I thought it was

No the shift firmness is not for our trucks, I was hoping it was too when I saw it on the list of options but its not....

For MPG, I know with the Superchips of the 3 options I tried out I always got best performance and mileage off their 91 tune, so when I switched over to the Diablo I kept it on the 91 tune and got almost a full 2mpg better than I did with the superchips.

For the Fuel/Spark DO NOT TOUCH THEM, for fuel you need a wideband to make sure you are not running to rich or to lean, for spark you need to log for knock I believe. I think (as I have not messed with this adjustment) adjusting the spark adjusts your timing amd if you go to far one way or the other you can really hurt the engine.

For the trans settings I posted up, take them as a starting point, load them up and try them. Since I did those I have readjusted them damn near a dozen times to get things where they feel good with my other mods so right now those numbers are way different from where they were when I started.

I did confirm with Diblosport too, but the foglights are not an option, and they said the shifts should be firmer with any of the tune loaded because of the reduction of TM. I know mine shifts harder for sure than before. I just thought there was an individual adjustment, but there is not.

Can't believe I just read all 45 pages of this thread. I for one am still a novice with this damn thing, but it sure made me smile more than once. I get to put 100 miles a day on mine to and from work. 60 to 90 mph in a hurry running 93 tune with minor mods. This thing's gonna get me a ticket.

Please tell me your "6" rolled over and became a "9" when you weren't looking.
