Anyone running the 9R05 and having issues with data logging and getting the "out of Menory" error..........GO BACK TO THE 9R04! I had all kinds of problems when hooking up to my truck with a laptop and trying to log data. I would keep getting this "Out of Memory" error. I went back to the 9R04 (as suggested by many on the DS Forum) and now it works great!

Here is the 9R04 that the guy on the DS Forum posted for me:

Mine logs fine on the 9r05. Logs as long as it did with the other Croms before running out of memory.
I was watching for knock the other day since I have been back on the 93 octane setting for awhile and there was none

Yeah I am not sure what the deal is but a bunch of people on the DS forum were having issues with the logging and the 05 so I went to the 04 like suggested and it works good. The only difference between the 04 and 05 is the addition of the 09 trucks. The tunes for our trucks staye the same. I verified this with Diablosoprt.

9r05, Ive read up a little more on it and the accepted solution seems to pull the battery connection for a little while and reconnect it. Ill give that a try.

Default finally working driver

I was finally able to get the driver for the usb cord to install and recognise the tuner. So now that I have my factory tune downloaded on my pc I want to start playing with this thing. My question is, when data logging do you plug the tuner into the truck or a laptop. Also when I downloaded the data logging software there were already some log files. Is this normal? Are these just sample loggs? Looks like the existing files are for a Found On Road Dead F150. I am assuming that the tuner was not previously used since I bought it from Moe's. Also I went in to change the idle and it came up with a + or - 400. Is that just the adjustment range and not the actuall rpm's? I adjusted it +50 hoping that would raise my idle to 650 rpm from the stock 600 rpm. There appears to be allot to learn about this thing, but that is why I bought it and not something that was just a one tune and that's it type of tuner. Just sucks that I don't have any fuel above 90 octane where I live, so I am stuck with the 87 tune.

Yes those are sample tunes, just ignore them.

To datalog you can:
1. Plug the predator into the truck and "log" the data on the predator itself. (You are limited to a lot shorter log time)
2. Plug the predator into the truck, then plug the predator into the laptop. Then you click on the Re-query button on the top and you will see your choices of what to log.....there is a ton! choose what you want and click the lightning bolt on top....
