Default Thanks

Thanks Butch1581. That makes sense, I curious how the laptop came into play. I will definetly be giving it a try when the roads are not all ice. Been thinking about upgrading to Windows 7, does any one know if the drivers are compatable as I do not want to go through what I just did to get the drivers to work again?

Default codes?

What codes can the Diablo clear? Ever since I changed my idle rpm's my windshield washer light has been on. I did heck it and it is full. Just wondering if the tuner somehow turned the warning light on and if it can turn it back off again? Thanks

Default coinsidence

So after reading many posts on this and other forums I have concluded that the windshield light going on and off is just a coinidence and rather common with these trucks. Will have to tackle that fix later. I am still intrested to know if anyone is running the Diablo software and drivers with the new Windows 7? Thanks

Anybody tried. Crom 06? It was released on 12/23/09 and looks to be a replacement for Crom 05.

I installed it. It now has a Throttle advance/retard feature that I am assuming will increase or decrease throttle movement in relation to the pedal movement. I advanced mine 5% and it seems a little snappier.
Resolves some more key cycle issues as well I think.

Im thinking that I may have to donload the updated crom now, that throttle advance sounds like a fun thing to play with, specially with my ported TB. Anything else new?

Nothing else new that I noticed. I advanced mine 20% today. Seems to inprove throttle response. Takes less pedal to get moving.
I wish they had made the 5th gear adjustable. Mine now kicks down out of 5th at around 55mph regardless of pedal position. It should stay engaged down to around 45 or so when cruising at light throttle to keep the mpg's up. It has done this since Crom2 I believe. I keep the MDS turned off so it's not due to that.
