I don't think it really matters but for my data log runs. I use 2 gear with the OD off. I am only doing 0-60 mph runs, but I always do the same gear selection. I going to go play some this after noon.

Have the floorshifter going in soon but until then i am starting to get use to shifting manually on WOT runs. I have the shiftlight set on 6100 but with my slow reaction it stills hits the limiter.

Typically wot runs for me once i get use to it would be 1-2-d-2 (to keep in 3rd)

This is a old vid and tune.

Gotta drag out the 3815 SC and try out the 0-60 and 1/4 datalog scenarios.

I know starting in second runs first and second but it moves alot better while accelerating hard. It wont hold the full 1/4 as it will only hold up to 90mph I believe but its good for the 0-60 or light to light runs. Once I get my new springs in I'll play with the first then second then drive but I dont feel like reving it past 6300rpms on the stock springs.

Yeah, I have the stock spring thing in the back of my mind when I start turning it up. I did a couple 6.35's this afternoon. But I'm launching so damn soft that it seems am simply driving away from a light. I need to get hooked up and really punch into that converter, then the times will start looking better. And of course putting the roll pan on is going to make it worse. Don't know, but it'll come together....

Went out and tried the 0-60 times. Did 4 runs and here's my best time. Speed limit was 35 so as soon as I hit 60 I jumped on the brakes lol. Man I love SC's new trans options. I've got more tinkering to do but so far I like what I've come up with for a shift schedule.

the 0-40 is pretty slow but I'll try to get some more runs in tomorrow morning when I head down to my uncles shop to do some more work on the truck. Hopefully there wont be any traffic. No idea where I'll be able to pull off a 1/4 mile time around here without going to jail but I'll look around and see what I can do.
