05 5.7 QCS with mopar cover...and 20" rims.
My only adjustment was to put on a CAI off eBay (the 20.00 one) ....I get get just over 21mpg on the highway @ about 65~70mph.

I don't know what gears I have...can someone guide me on that? is it in the VIN or a tag somewhere?

Yes, I know people say this one is crap...but it works just fine for my non-racing driving style.

Hand calc, 12.5/city and ~15/hiway with my foot in it a little. Closer to 16.5/hiway with an egg under the go peddle.

Ok, my 2006 Power Wagon with 35" tires gets 9-13 MPG. It just hit the 1000 mile mile mark.

Oh-yeah, it got 10.5 in town babying it and 13.2 on the highway going 65-75 mph. If I get on it, it drops down to 8.8MPG.

In my '04 QC HEMI, I get about 15 mpg in town and can get 21+mpg on the highway if I keep my foot out of it and the cruise set at around 65-68 mph. I get around 19 at 70 mph, 17 at 75 mph and 16 mpg at 78.

The sweet spot seems to be 68 mph or 1800 rpm's. It doesn't pick up much below that and drops off drastically above 70 mph. Also, unlike my old regular cab pick-up, I don't seem to find any change with the tailgate down. Seems with a quad cab, the length of the roof keeps air off the gate at speed.

It's tough going so slow here in Atlanta where driving 15-20 mph over the limit is the norm but I look at it this way. If I drive 68 mph on a 4- hour trip instead of 78 which is what I used to drive, I'll get there about 30 minutes later, but will have used 25% less gas and saved almost $15! Enough for a decent meal once I get there.

My 05 hemi 4x4 with 9500 miles, magna flow exhaust and magnum force intake has been getting 17.5 running 60-65 with cruise on (manually computed) with the computer it show 18.8 mpg. Have not done any calculations for city driving.

Being I only have driven my 2006 5.9L CTD 753 miles, my over all average is 16.9 MPG. My best MPG was last night 18.1 MPG with 99.9% of the trip Hwy miles. FYI my MPG is based on using a hand calculator not the overhead trip computer.
