I just got my truck home.It is a 2006 Mega cab 2500 in ok condition the body could use a little work. it has 172,000 kms on it now. Im just wondering if there are any issuses i should be looking at with that amount of KMS... I searched the forum and found some people having some issues with the AC on the mega cab, as well as i found the suspension really rough on the highway and read that it has something to with the vehicle not having any weight in it, so im going to try the sand bags in the back behind the wheel wells hope that works out. as far as gas milage goes i was only gettting about 12 miles to the gallon (know this by the display) sounds like the only way to get better milage is by an E-fan? Will i need to replace anything? such as belts, gaskets, ball joints? Help would be Greatly Appreciated!

I think my truck will hit 200k no problems. It feels older but once it's warmed up everything still runs strong at 172,000. I'm thinking the biggest things will be the motor and trans and I can do a Sheradon trans, used low mileage hemi and a SRT rear end for probably $6,000 and have a better truck than I can get for selling mine and putting up $6,000. I'll probably also have to rebuild the front suspension. But hey, I'll have practically a new truck.

77K miles on my 08 5.7 QC. Other than the P0456 - small evap leak detected and my driver's seat wearing out, the truck has been great.
