Default at3030 vs at3030 xl

I'm debating which one to get here, gonna bbe ordering soon and want to try to nail it down, first off i have an 07 2500 hemi so no rear resonator. do i go with the xl? or just the 3030. i do use my truck to tow a 8000lb travel trailer, but we don't tow far, my biggest concern is the in cab noise with 2 kids and the wife, if its too loud i won't be having it for long, outside the truck i could careless how loud it is, any help or opinions are welcome thanks

ive heard the xl before... too quiet... but than again i am a 20 year old single guy who loves noise! lol the xl was definitely louder than a magnaflow but not quite as loud as a fm40. the tone was beautiful though, just right only needed to be louder. personally i like the sound of my stock muffler thats all rusted out

I have the 3030XL on my 06 Hemi 1500 and love it. I also left the rear resonater on. I'm too old (47) to be running around setting off peoples car alarms and rattling windows so I went with the resonated version.

I've got a 3030xl on my 1500. I LOVE it. It gets you your rumble both inside and outside the truck. It's not too loud, but other people can definitely hear it. Really pisses them ricers off. The thing that I love about it the most is that it actually gets quieter around the 3k range. When you're towing it's great, there's no annoying tones or constant pitches, except for the low rumble that everyone wants. It's awesome.

ok so i talked to aero today, and they said go with the xl, its only 7-10 db quieter and it gives a smoother sound, less popping. so i think i will go that route and order one tonight
