Default Bull Guards

Like many people on these forums, I have a "fever" and the only cure is to keep buying things for my truck... (sorry, no cowbell)

I'm looking at purchasing a Bull Guard for my 07 1500 Reg Cab.

Has anyone had good experiences with theirs? Bad Experience? Is there a major difference between brands? They all look very similar but the prices can vary by up to $200

Any pictures of them would be helpful as well.

Thanks,

BWhelan

Are you talking about one like I have in my signature picture? Or the bigger grill guards?

Exactly like the one you have in your signature.

That looks sweet.

Tough to beat Westin for quality but they ain't cheap.

There is one on ebay I know a couple people who have and they like them. I think only around $100 in black powdercoat and about $150 in stainless if I remember right. Lemme see if I can find one of the dudes who has one on Yahoo or AIM and I'll post the name or a link...

HammerZ71, thanks again for the reply.

I think I may have to pick up one of those in SS. I was a fan on the ones with the traditional skid plates but hey also have others with support beams that look sick...

Looks like my Paypal account should be seeing some action.

I was very impressed by this install. Little bit of a custom touch that really gave the bull bar a good look...

I LOVED my front grill guard I used to have. It was heavy and covered everything. But Im so high now that anything I run over is going to go under me anyway. But I do like the push bars or bull guards. You should have no issues installing one. They are not hard.

Ive been looking at getting a stainless one myself, but from what I can tell they all have been saying they wont fit the "sport" edition rams so I havnt gotten one yet, but I saw a white sport the other day that had one on there so it made me wonder if the places Ive been looking are full of it. Are the all pretty much mounted the same or do they vary? Ive seen some that stick out several inchs and look kinda silly and others that butt right up to the bumper, which I though looked real good (ie the white one i saw)

Awesome, thanks for the comments guys!

Long story short, my credit card information was stolen during online purchasing and am now I'm just waiting on my new card to come in and then the fun begins.

I think the SS is the route I'll be taking. I like the powdercoat but think the SS will look better with a Gray truck.

Now I just have to decide if I want the traditional design or the ones with the cross bars... I've heard that the crossbars are better for Airflow (which makes sense), but do you guys know if it really matters at all?
