Default Painting badges

Im going to take off my badges and paint them black what glue should i use to put the back on?

I would use 3M trim tape

The factory uses the 3m trim tape

You should take a look at this thread.

They all just plasti-dip right on the vehicle and peel the excess off.

*Edit* Sorry, I guess this only applies if your plasti-dipping

not to thread jack, but wow that plastidip stuff is awesome. Looks like daddy is getting some new color wheels to hold me over till I get real ones. Anyone on this board have any experience with it?

you must be new or not very active...this stuff was like cancer for about 6 months, 5/10 top threads had plastidip in the title. Search and you will see TONS of threads on plastidipping badges, grilles, bumpers, wheels, etc

plastidip has metastasized so far that even Lexus owners are using it?

LOL yep i have posted a few things about it....i used it, it works great....just clean it good and go to town.....

haha ok just leech off my thread i dont care..... ahahah jk anyways i couldnt find that 3M tape so i just bought automotive double sided tape, but ended up not using it and just taping off my badges on my tail gate to see how it looked, i painted the 4x4 and the dodge ram, and it looks great, now im just waiting for nicer weather so i can do the RAM on my doors and take off the hemi ones
