Leveling kit=longer shocks?
I searched some but didn't really find the answer. I am stockpiling parts at home, getting ready for a big makeover day at the local tire shop. New tires, shocks and brakes will go on at the same time.
Kinda want to level the truck, might as well it will be on the lift. As far as leveling kits are concerned, what is better, longer shocks or shock relocation and use stock height shocks? I found kits that go both ways. Or do you even need longer shocks with a 2" level lit?
Thanks in advance!

If I was going to buy new shocks, I'd go with the longer shocks. only way I'd use the relocation brackets is if I had good shocks and didn't wanna replace them with the proper length ones.
Yes, even 2" will require longer shocks. If you stay on the street, you may not bottom them out much, but you'll still wear them out fairly fast...

Shock questions
I have a 98 dodge ram 1500 4x4 and I am planning on installing a 2.5" coil spring spacer leveling kit. I understand I need to get longer shocks but on 4 wheel parts website it had a two differ options: front dual OE w/2.5" lift, and front w/o-2.5" lift. What is the difference and how do I know which one i need? Thanks!
