08Dodge Hemi 2500 what do you do for MPG!

Default 08Dodge Hemi 2500 what do you do for MPG!

My gas milage sucks, but i love my truck. What is anyone doing for MPG?

Its a big heavy truck. Gas mileage will never be good, it was intended to work, not help you at the gas pump.

I will move this to the 3rd Gen Ram section for you (2002-2008 gas Dodge Rams).

I have a 06 2500 ram qc hemi. I put a magnaflow single in duall out exhaust, a efan,drop in K&N filter, A tonue cover,a super chip with the xs save program I keep the 17" tires aired up like they are supose to be I have synthetic oil in it and I can get 15.3 miles per a gallon if I take it easy on the foot feed country driving. In town it will drop to about 12mpg

And that's about as good as you're gonna do on a 2500 frame...

Pretty much what I'm looking for is the 15-16 range. Got a kn filter what is the best chip to get? Was thinking bout the bully dog good or bad?

I am runnin about 640 km to 120 liters or about 35-40 per 170 kms not the best in the city but better on the highway with proper tire psi.

Bully Dog seems to be one of THE tuners to have for the CTD, but for a gasser, you'll see more gains and better options from a Superchips or Diablo tuner...
