Default Side Exit, Magnaflow

Hey guys,

I've looked everywhere and can't find the side exit in front of rear wheel for a 4.7L V8. Magnaflow has one but it says it is only for the 5.7L Hemi.

Really looking for a a stainless exhaust to replace mine as I have no muffler and its cutoff under the cab which causes horrible drone on interstate.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks, John

edit, its also a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Regular Cab/Shortbed 2WD

The thing I've noticed is that it says they are all for the Mega Cab models too. But I know Dirty has the side exit setup but his is the Hemi but he may be able to point you in the right direction.

I was looking at installing it myself, although my exhaust was hacked off, not sure if I can install myself.

Save yourself some money and purchase just the muffler, then bring it to a muffler shop for install. Including the muffler, I paid ~$300 for the entire setup, dual into and out of the muffler ("Y" removed completely). The two 3" pipes exit right in front of my passenger wheel, and it sounds awesome.

So you just go straight from the headers to the muffler?

Very few shops use stainless pipe, just aluminized steel which will last a little while.

Headers, cats, muffler.

Looked stainless to me, and there were no coating cracks in the bends, which would have indicated aluminization. The "tips" are currently raw angle-cut metal, with no rust at all.

Currently its Headers, cat, no muffler, cut alittle bit before the rear tire.

If I could get stainless at a shop I would go that route,
