Red face Dual exhaust...with a really cool picture.....

So I want to get a dual exhaust where the exhaust exits in front of my back tires on both sides. My question is.....do you know of anyone who makes this type of exhaust? I have looked for a pre-fabricated one but unable to find one like my really cool picture I made. I could have the shop just fabricate one but I wanted to try this first.

Gibson makes a super truck exhaust that exits like that but i think it is dual out on the same side like a race truck. I think it is really loud too. Could have it fabbed to route one pipe out the other side. I have their sport side exhaust with dual single side exits behind the passenger side tire. But i am going to have a shop convert it to dual rear exit because the pipes are too close to my spare.

Right, and the reason one was never manufactured was because the exh has to cross under the drive shaft as there is no room to go down from the header along the side of the truck. However, with the right shop and right fabricator, it CAN (and has been) be done.

its no so much the drive shaft (it could go under) but the fuel tank is in the way on the driverside......not sure if just any shop would route an exaust pipe under it.

Here is mine that exits on the passenger side. If this was to cross over to the driverside, it would be much lower to go under the fuel tank.

Yeh, didn't think about the fuel tank. You want to be careful with that. When I installed mine, I realized it was too close to my spare and I wrapped the hell out of it with exhaust wrap. Worked fine until the wrap got rubbed enough to get a hole in it and now I have a nice sized chunk burned out of my spare. I've rewrapped it but the only permanent solution, without getting a new system, is to get the pipes refabbed to get them out of the way of anything I don't want melted or on fire.

Shop is quoting me $200 - $250 and about a half day's work. Hate to spend it but don't want to worry about what is going on under there all the time.

If you notice in that last picture that I posted above. Look where drivers side leaf spring mount is, the fuel tank is about 4" lower than the mount.....then look at these pics of how close the pipes are to it on the passenger side.
