Default A little somethin for yall

I decided to Plasti-dip my wheels, ( took some peer pressure from a co-worker) and I really like them. I think they might even look better than some that i could get in the aftermarket. So here's a couple pictures......http://s1060.photobucket.com/albums/t444/kylegibson1/
What do ya think? I also tinted my taillights and really like how that turned out. I dont believe they can be seen in the pictures though.

Black wheels look great on all trucks, specifically my flame red one. Unforunately i wouldnt know, Im a coward and dont wanna paint them. Been looking for aftermarket, but with the actual way my "polished Aluminum" are starting to look, id rather almost throw them away.

Looks awesome man! I am doing the same thing next weekend. Same rims and all. Did you take them off the truck or do them on the truck?

Been thinking of doing this myself. How time consuming was it? How many cans of PD did you end up using?

Yes I did take the wheels off, I would think its easier. I didnt even take off the tire either i just cleaned the inner part of the tire where it contacts the wheel. the plasti dip does not show on the tire. It took 3 cans and i did 2 pretty heavy coats on each wheel. Be mindfull of the corners of your wheels this stuff will run. Im gonna guess mabey 2-3 hours on this project including drying time. I wasnt keeping track.
