Default Rotors that dont seem to WARP

I have been trough 4 sets of rotors and 3 of different brands, I have now found some that are not warping and they are the LORDCO brand from of course Lodco. I have now been running them for the past 5 months and they are great and up here in canada they warr. against warpage.
I asked them at the store why they are better than other brands and they said they meet the oem standards or better and thats why some of there prices are higher than others.
But when i got mine i paid $65.00 a rotor so not bad then paying $75.00 for ones that warp.

Original pads and rotors on mine still. '04 with 54k miles. Longest I've EVER gotten out stock pads or rotors for that matter.

I don't tow nearly as often as I used to when I had my 2nd Gen, but when I do it's usually very heavy...

Well good to hear

I got about 100,000 before I had rotor issues on the front. I replaced them and havent had any other issues since. I have 144000 now. I always use the ceramic pads.

Never tow (don't even have a hitch) and rareley haul anything. I am on my second set of Pads and rotors. And these new rotors were warped within 3 months.

Did first pad/rotor swap around 50k and then again at 90k.

*Knock on Wood* but I just turned over 60K with the original rotors from OEM. They still feel perfect and haven't had any complaints. If they start to cause problems, I would take a look at these Lord Co rotors, due to your recommendation.

I made it to about 65-70,000 miles before the Power Slots went on.

When my rotors went on my 2nd Gen (about 40k miles but I fished bass tourney's a good 3 weekends a month and often pulled the boat 4-5 hours each way) I replaced them with Power Slot rotors and Hawk pads. Stopping power was night/day and no issues at all - but I did trade the truck with 68k on the clock, so they weren't even on for 30k miles.

When mine go I plan on the same with my 3rd Gen...

I'm pretty sure my stock front rotors are warped now. My stock front pads were toast at about 30k. Replaced them with EBC green stuff 7000 series pads. They worked great till the rotors warped at about 36k. I just ordered powerslot rotors and another set of EBC pads yesterday. Going to throw a set of EBC pads on the rear while I'm at it. I hope the powerslots hold up and improve braking.

Default Rotors

I know there are different brands out there and i am happy to find somthing up here in Canada that dont warp. I went to the dealer and there price was way out there and they told me they couldn't warranty there cause the trucks have to much power for this brake system. But like I said these from Lordco Are Great and my Nephew just bought a 2005 dodge ram and he even put them on his and Lordco warranties there against warpage.

Stock Rotors warped around 70k miles for me. Threw on the Duralast Gold Rotors and Ceramic pads from Autozone and currently sitting at 144k with no issues.
