Black plug behind dash 4 wires

Default Black plug behind dash 4 wires

i pilled the dash apart today was going to try a project there is a black plug in the back near the passanger side that was just plugged into a dummy holder it has 4 wires going into it anybody know what that is used for ???

could not get pictures to load , but , i think i figured it out , on a regular cab i saw in that spot was a option for a passanger air bag and a key hole to turn it on or off , so my guess it was in the wire harness and they put the plug in no matter what ,

I was thinking that but you said it was in the back (usually the blank plug is behind the center bezel).

Yep, Std cab passenger airbag off switch for when you have a child seat in place.
