Well, I figured that I wanted to post a couple pictures up for the beast [X(]
Sorry if the pictures are crappy, i took them on my cell phone (my digital is back in PA).

RCSB are some rare things nowadays. Gotta say though the angles those pics are at does make it look like a long bed. Had me for a few secs but then I noticed. Agreed nice looking

Sohowdo yall think it would look with the grille shell painted the same color at the truck and if i was to get the GTX style hood (cowl) and have the raised part painted black like the GTX?
and should i go with a full face grill or a 4pc.?

 

i think a full face grille painted that burgandycolor would look real sick....

i looked at the pics again and now i can tell that its a short bed....but it does look like a longbed from those pictures

 

Well, this is what i am looking to do.
The grille shell (chrome part) will be painted the maroon. Now i am deciding if i want to go with a full face insert or the 4pc and eitherkeep it chrome or powder coat it gloss black.

 

now that i think about it i am thinkin you should keep it chrome or else you will have a lonely chrome bottom bumper in the front of your truck.....
while your at it you should paint the top part of the frontbumper maroon too.....

heres what i think you should do....
do what u want with the hood,
keep the 4 peice grill and make it chrome,
paint the outside edge and the crosshair part (the shell) maroon,
paint the top part of the bumper maroon, but keep the bottom chrome, reason being is because you still have chrome wheels and a chrome rear bumper and you need to keep the balance throughout the truck

on the more drastic hand you could make all of the chrome black and try to pull off that old mopar look....a full face black grill with a maroon shell and all the chrome black would be pretty cool......

 

one last thing.......if you paint the shell i think you should paint the outside part and the crosshairs part (the + in the middle) all maroon......ive seen some rams around that only have the outside paintedand not the + part painted and it doesnt look that good in my opinion....
