4.7 Performance upgrades
I must be honest, its actually in the mail. Currently I have an Auburn LSD and 4.56 gears. The gears/differential took a crap on Christmas eve, and I have to have everything replaced.
The auburn was a good unit, but I didnt know you shouldnt use synthetic with them. I used synthetic with it and burnt up the clutches. I went with a Detroit this time...no clutches to burn up, no friction modifier to add, so its just an easier unit to own, and more reliable.
Hopefully it shows up today or tomorrow, as I'm supposed to be back at work in Texas today, and I'm still in Cincinnati

Sorry didn't mean to make you dime your self out
Let me know how it works out. I still have the factory time bomb in mine. I'll have my cover off in the next few weeks to replace gear oil and install a new cover. It will also give me an oppertunity to check the retaining clips in the clutch pack to see if I still have a little time to work with. Thanks
