I know, I know, we've been through this numerous times already. But no one, thus far has been able to produce a shred of evidence proving their claim, as to which oil filter is the best.
I am hoping someone will be able to produce evidence from a reputable source like "Consumer Reports" which will put the claim to rest once and for all.

 

FYI, Consumer reports are the biggest bull****ters ever.

 

I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night and I think that Mobil 1 is the best. Lol JK I am sure some1 will dig something up.

the smart money would run mopar if under warrenty. engine failure? sorry sir but ur not running a mopar filter! don't know if this happens on the light duty side but have seen it happen on the heavy duty side. for me fram and quaker state always.

The best would depend on your climate, type of driving, style of driving, oil viscosity etc.
Now I'm old school and heres what I've learned. The engineers who made your vehicle really know a thing or two about it, so if they put a "Mopar" oil filter on it then you can't go wrong with that either.It cost me under 6 bucks and I'm still under warranty.

Gotta go with ya' on that one hog-daddy! So lets see, if I went to your school, I'd not have gotten an aftermarket exhaust, because the people who made it would have used the best exhaust for it. The headers and CAI were a waste of money and my time to install them too, because they were not as good as the original components. Why did I waste $400+ ona damn tuner when the engineers who "knew a thing or two" would have programmed it for peak performance. The dyno numbers I'm seeing with about a 70 HP gain overstock must be an error on the dyno that day, because the aftermarket components I put in cannot be better than the "Mopar" ones.
Damn, I wish I went to your "old school". Iwould have saved myself some real money.

BTW: Hogdad, just messing with you to make my point... Mopar filters are usually rated above average.
