2005 Ram Front End Rattle/Clunking (AT LAST FIXED TODAY)
Mine will go back to the dealer in the next two weeks & they'll have it for a few days. I'll ask them about the chassie ear & the sway bay end links, so I will let you know what the outcome is. Hopefully they fix it.
UPDATE,
The truck is going back to the dealer tomorrow. Im sure they will have it for a while this time. I will let you all know what they find/fix
WISH ME LUCK LOL

I work at a dealer, and i'm not sure what kind of weapons are working at these other places but is sounds links the sway bar links. If you can't get any play while hanging form them loosen them off then road testI bet clunking will be gone. I have changed lots of them for this problem. 1500 and HD as well.

Chadmech,
The tech today at the dealer now seems to think its the sway bar bushings, He ordered them today and will have them installed tomorrow. Are the ends different then the bushing's I am assuming??? He said that was one of the only things ge forgot to replace the last two weeks he had the dam truck. LOL

buganddoug,
That is not very promising to me LOL Man sounds like you have been through the loops too. How many miles do you have on the rig?
Mines an 05 and just turned 16,000 is all. The clunk started at approx 8,000
