Kids with hemis...
I love it how when you guys get older you like to act like you never did anything wrong as a child lol. I totally agree what the kid did was stupid, but if someone called cops and the DMV for everytime one of you guys did something dumb, ask yourself how long you would have had a drivers license lol.

I have seen to many car wrecks to feel the need to go out and look "cool" by wasting 300 dollars or so in tires. Or to drive like a jackass. Anytime I see someone driving like this, the police department gets a call from me.
some people just have no respect for their own stuff of other ppls things, im 17 and my hemi is my first vehicle i have ever own and i treat it like its my own new born cause i would like it to last and not b torn up, but that guy will probably wrap his around a poll some time in the next month
If my truck wasn't brand new, pretty 'n stuff, I'd probably be running people over down here in Miami. There is a reason Miami has been named the Road Rage capital of the US. Some drivers are dumb, some are rude, and some are clueless. I came in work tonight and made the statement that it was probably a good thing that I left my .45 back home in Alabama. Not a day goes by that I don't sit behind the wheel, shaking my head and muttering to myself "I can't believe they just did that".
I can't stand the stupid teens that get vehicles given to them by mommy or daddy. I've had to work for every vehicle I've owned and every expense that came with it. Haven't had a ticket 'til recently when I started taking long business trips (was doing 11 over on the interstate, pulled me over a 1/2 mile after the speed change sign) and don't understand what is so hard about not driving like an idiot.
Vehicles driven by those under 18 should have rev limiters at 3000rpms (sorry guys
).
I have two vehicles that put pretty nice horsepowerdown, but I find places that are safe to test that hp out.

In response to bwhtie757...i completely agree with you. I, myself, am in the same boat as you were. I am 20 now, and i paid for both of my trucks. When i first got my drivers license i got my dad's old car, which was a '96 Chrysler LHS (hell of a car btw), then when i was 17 i bought my first truck, '99 Ram 4x4, which i just recently traded in, and bought an '05 Dodge Ram Daytona 4x4.
My dad's old car that i got, i didn't have to pay for, but i did have to pay for insurance, and i also did all the maintance to it. My '99 ram, my parents gave me a loan, and i had to pay insurance myself. As for the '05 i have now, i did everything myself, got a loan through the bank, and pay insurance myself. I never beat on any of my vehicles, i mean i did my fair share of burnouts, doughnuts, etc. with my '99, but i also did all the maintance to it, and it only left me stranded once, and that was all my fault, for i forgot to put the c-clips on the rear driveshaft u-joint, i was in a hurry and it was just a stupid mistake. But, i learned my lesson from that, everything i do now i double check, usually triple check. Right now, i hold a full-time job, while in college with a full course load. I have been djing since i was about twelve and have had other jobs since i could drive.
I never drive like an *******, and never will. I hate it when i see people drive like that. For example, people cutting others off, or on the highway when people know the big line of traffic is to get off at an exit and they try to go all the way to the front in cut in. I do towing while i am in school, so i am on the road a lot and see a lot of ******** on the road. And because i do towing, i have to tow some people because they beat on their car to much and break something, some being very young kids with very nice cars, whose mommy and daddy clearly bought for them, and they obviously had no respect for. I also have to respond to many accidents that happened all because the driver was being an idiot and either hurt themselves or hurt others. My first major accident was a head on collision between a drunk teen and elderly couple, everyone lived, the elderly couple was badly injured though. But, when i got to the accident, the police officers had the drunk teen sitting on the gaurdrail screaming at him and pointing at the elderly couple who had to get pulled out of their car by the jaws of life.
I always treat my vehicles with respect and also treat every other vehicle the same way. I believe if you pay for your own car, and mommy and daddy doesnt pay for it, you treat it with a lot more respect. I have always felt good paying for my own things and being able to fix everything myself.

I dont think its fair to group all teen drivers into the ******* category. or assume it was given to them by mommy and daddy. There are many teens on this site who work hard, and pay for thier own rig.
