Any thoughts? Is it a faceplate for a switch?

I don't know for sure, probably a place for some type of option that didn't come with your truck......just a guess though.

My 2007 ST had it, so I used the blank to house the switch for my OE fog light install. My 2008 SLT has it too. Undoubtedly it's home to some cool option we didn't get.

the only options i dont have in my truck are heated seats (live in a desert) power rear sliding window (eh my arms are long enough) and leather (ive got two dogs and i also like to get dirty)
