I just put one on my 2002 Ram 4.7 L last week and I think it sounds great! Of course I think it sounds great because I replaced the factory muffler! I'd recommend it to you. I don't know that I can hear a difference between the 44 and the 40 series though.

I kept my stock pipes which are 3 inch. I opted out of the dual exhaust to save 180 dollars. I was also told that the dual exhaust wouldn't actually help me since I was just doing a cat-back exhaust... supposedly a single exit exhaust is actually better in my case. And I think it sounds just as good if not better than dual exhaust. I think it "cackles" a bit more than the dual system.

CAI, LT Headers and Flowmaster 50HD here. Nice deep rumble at idle, not too loud. Normal driving is a little on the loud side, not terrible and the addition of the Headers didn't make it any louder, but gave it a much deeper rumble. Now whenI get on it, I get complaints from the neighbors...

I'm planning on getting these along with LTs and a x-pipe. Does anyone have any experience with these? (how they sound and flow). It says its thier highest performing 4" muffler they haveso I'm assuming they flow good.
