Default Front leveling & tire rub on an 08 Ram 1500 2wd...

I just got my 08 Ram 1500 QC 2wd 5.7L front end leveled 1.5" yesterday,
the Daystar Kit, with Pro Comp LT305/55R20 Extreme AT's, and have a problem with tire rub when I turn it all the way left or right. It rubs on the upper - forward A-arm, depending on which way I turn...

Any suggestions on what I can do to get rid of this?

Wheel Spacers? I've read pro's & con's about this?
The main use for our truck is daily driver and also towing the fully loaded
Toy Hauler of 8400 Lbs...

3" Body Lift?

Thanks for your help...

You need wheel spacers if you keep your factory wheels. I would only get the spacers that bolt on and have their own lugs for the wheels. The other spacers are junk. These are a little more costly, but worth it. Check out Romeosoldier03's ram. He is running 36" Iroks with factory 20's and he got 1.25" spacers and it looks great. I know he also tows some weight with it and has no problems.

i have a 2wd too. i personally think you should have gone with a 2" to level it. i went with a 2.5" which caused it to sit higher in the front than the rear. so i put a 1" block in the rear and it sits perfect. i went with the 2.5" because i wanted all the lift i could get to clear 35's. i also have a 3" body lift though. to get them to stop rubbing on the control arm you need a wheel spacer. hopefully i dont need one since i have aftermarket wheels but if i do im just gonna get a 1/4" spacer. that should push it out enough to clear what i need. but it also depends on how much it rubs....if it rubs a lot then i would get the 1.25" spacer with its own lugs, but if it barely rubs like mine probally will, i think youll be fine with a 1/4" spacer. just check your lug nuts every so often to make sure its safe.

romeosoldier has the spacer but not on stock rims.

question: when you do wheel spacers, do you put them on all 4 tires or just the front 2? i know you only need the front 2, but i think it would stick out a noticeable amount from the rear and it would look bad.

my brother put 1/4" spacers on his ram to clear the tires and it's not noticable. 1.25" would DEFFINITELY be noticeable...and U-G-L-Y (you ain't got o alibi, hey hey) sorry about that :-(

For the 08 1500 2wd, I couldn't find anything higher than 1.5", if not I would of gone with the 2" or above leveling kit.

Right now it looks like I am leaning more towards the wheel spacers, or if that won't work with towing the trailer, then new rims with less backspace.

As for the Pro Comp A/T's - They are great looking and not loud at all on the highway...Haven't had a chance to take it out to the desert yet, but when I do, I'll post the results...

Question: What type of 1/4" spacers would I look for?
5.5 bolt pattern - made out of steel???

Thanks again for all your help!!! I'll be posting pics hopefully tonight when I get them downloaded...
