Default SRT-10 brakes on a later-model Ram?

Since it appears that the SRT-10 Rams were coil-sprung, does anybody know if the brakes (4-pot front w/15" rotors, 2-pot rear w/14" rotors) would fit a later-model Ram QuadCab (non-SRT)? Anybody tried to fit them under the OEM 20" wheels?

I think I remember someone on another forum trying the srt brakes on a regulaer ram and they wouldnt bolt up, need to make a special bracket. I'll have to look around and see if I can find the post on that forum

I know the spindles and lower control arms are different between the SRT and non-SRT. Will take a little work to make it happen.

Thanks...that's what I was wondering. I don't plan on modding my truck much since it is a work truck, but I just couldn't resist the idea of monster brakes if they could be achieved without too much hassle. Oh well, I guess the stock brakes are pretty good for a truck...

There are plentyof performance pieces you can add to increase the braking effectiveness in the Ram, all this stuff here is bolt on;

Looks like good stuff, but too expensive for a work truck. Might upgrade pads when the time comes. Had an opportunity to pick up SRT-10 f&r calipers for about $200

For those feeling brave or with appropriate brackets to adapt srt brakes, here's the auction link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...73115&rd=1

$150 for a set of four srt calipers + $50 shipping. Almost seems too cheap...wish they'd fit on my 4wd Ram
