I saw that they had one for my 4.7 also...but i'm wery about buying it though for that cheap of a price.a buddy of mine that works at a mechanic shop said that a cheap cai is the same thing as an expensive one(they both do the same thing the same way).i was holding off buying one to see if anyone on here had some other input first
yeah thats what i was thinking....doesent say how big around the tube is but its bigger than most of the CAI ive seen accept for the RAM hammer and a huge air filter
Dont forget that they arent really selling it for $24. They are selling it for $45, with $5 shipping, if you think about it logically.
I am weary of these cheap CAIs that come with metal tubes. I have heard those can get annoying when they start rattling while driving. Also, for thatamount ofmoney, that filter must let small birds pass through or something, ha.
Because I didnt want to spend too much, I just bought an Airaid Modular Intake Tube to get rid of the accordian style tubing with the Hemi hat. This way the tube just goes right up to the throttle body, and the stock air filter box is still used. I also just bought an Amsoil Synthetic fiber filter for $45 that has a 4 year/100,000 mile warranty. I figure it was worth it, have always wanted to try something other than the paper filters anyways.
If you getthat CAIletus know how it works out.

ive noticed em too, and i dont like the filter they use. I was gonna buy the 24 dollar one, and then i was thinking about the 50 dollar full cold system, but still i didnt like the filter. liked the system, just didnt like the filter, so when i do buy one i am going to get the 80 dollar full cold system that uses a k&n filter, which is about the best flowing filter on the market.
I bought one Ebay... To see what it was... the tube will bolt up to the air hat.. and then run into the Wheel well and has a filter.. the one i got was made out of a screen rather then a filter... so i just replaced it with a "real" filter...then after that I just put the Air filter on the Airhat... seems to run fine....

technically that is a WAI (warm air intake)
a col air would need a blockoof plate to seel it off from the rest of teh engine compartment or you could do a HAI (hot air) and run a cone right of teh TB and use the sensor right in front
