Default 20" wheels or 17" ???

My Truck came with 35x12.50R20 but was thinking if I put some 35x12.50R17 it would be allot cheaper to replace the tires... or does anyone know where I can get some tires that aren't gonna cost me $400 a pop for 35x12.50R20 at???

Are there any pro and cons on running either tire and wheel combo???

had 17s changed to 20 used is about your only bet to get less then 400 can sometimes get less then 400 on ebay but 400 to 500 is avg. also try crigeslist you can find deals with people tring to get rid of what they have. no real down side to going to 17s better gas mpg and accleration.

i was told not to buy a truck with the 20 inch rims because of the tires, but i found i can buy them cheaper than what i was told. i'm looking at some all terrains at $155 a piece and that's not bad at all to me. 275 60 R20.

You have to realize that truck/suv tires cost more than your average 15" rim on a camry.

I just traded my 17" Rims and Tires for 20" Rims and Tires over the weekend. My 17's were getting low on tread and these 20" tires are too. I am looking around for 20" tires now for a deal near Atlanta, GA New or Used.
I like having the wider tire and the cost of the tires seems to be real close anyway just less used 20" tires out there.

Those are some great looking tires, might have to see how much height I would loose in getting those over the ones I have...

stock tires on 20's is 33" tall. You would lose 2 inches on tire diameter, but only 1 inch ride height.

Goodyear wrangler AT or goodyear wrangler HP (not sure which) can be had in 34" (275/65-20 I think), around $170 or something. But the HPs are the stock tires and are garbage for wet/snow conditions (I still have stocks on mine).

So you recommend the Goodyear wranglers for 20" all season / winter tire?

Its coming to be that time!
