Question Ram Service Manuals

Two or so years back I downloaded the pdf factory manuals for my 04 Ram from a link that was posted on this forum. That was a tremendous help. Now I want to check something in the specs for an 05 Ram, but I can't find a link to the manuals. Are they still out there somewhere?

do some eBay searches...I bought a complete set of 2008 Dodge Ram service manuals off there, much cheaper than if bought through Mopar. Older years are usually cheaper too.

Thanks, but there have been links on this forum in the past to the complete, genuine, factory manuals, free for the downloading. That's what I meant.

I have the full set of manuals that I downloaded for my 2004 Ram via this forum. I had the 2005, too, but didn't have that one backed up, and lost it when my hard drive died.

I can post or send you some pages, but I don't have a way to post the whole thing.

Actually, if you could look up the minimum thickness for the rear brake rotors of a 2005 1500-series (LD), that's all I need.

My truck was built late in the model year and the actual, measured thickness of my rear rotors is far smaller than the minimum listed in the 2004 manual. The brakes are still original and I still have plenty of brake pad thickness left. So, I'm thinking that there may have been a running change in late in the 2004 models that carried over to the 2005's. So that's why I'm looking for the stated minimum for the 2005 rear rotors.

Thanks.

I used to have the 06 pdf before the old computer died out. Hemitruckclub no longer has them; Chrysler had a nice talk with them about providing it for free.

I have the FSM for the 2005. The section says that the minimum rotor width allowable is stamped or cast into the rotor-----sorry no dimensions listed

According to this, minimum LD rear rotor thickness is 20.4 mm (.803"). It's the 6th one down.
