My full on system buildup
I think he just meant with the alpine logo faced the other way so that if you turned around you could read it.
It looks great, BTW.
But I have a couple of question where did you run your power cables....under the cabin or under the carpet, door sills... etc
Also wondering about the amps on the back wall, how much clearance do you have between the back wall and where the seat back mounts.....my amps have little spikes that poke off the top ( http://di1.shopping.com/images1/pi/8...BL+BP600+1.jpg ) i'm wondering if their will be enough clearance b/c my seat kinda slides up and down when you raise the lower portion and i dont want my amp getting caught up.....

Those JBL amps are pretty low profile. I don't think you'll have any issues other than cooling. Those amps tend to run pretty hot. I used to have 4 of them in my Camaro and 2 of them got so hot they wouldn't function properly. I would think squishing them behind the seat would give cooling issues?
hey looks good. Im not a big alpine fan but if you like it thats what matters. i use to do a lot of usaci shows and other comps. i have attached some photos of a truck i helped build. i am currently working on my truck now going with OZ audio matrix elite components 2 oz matrix elite 12 1 us amps 600 and 2 us amps 200X i will soon have pics of that here soon. i also have a car that im doing a full digital design system in. if you have any questions for me feel free to ask and i will do my best to answer and a good way to help cool your amps is take the back off of them.

Taking the backs off them doesn't help when they are mashed against the back wall! I would say adding a few fans inside them or around the outside is a better choice of preference for myself!
woudn't even matter if you mixed brands. speaker is a speaker is a speaker. good sq is good sq. just because it's two different levels doens't matter. in fact why bother putting type r in the back. the main sound stage for mids/highs comes from the front anyway.
I have 0 gauge to run from the battery to behind the back seat of QC. As well as 2 sets of RCA's from the head unit to behind the back seat. where can I run the cables easily?
you can run the power wire on the driverside floor just pop the panels off and run it right under the carpet and the rca's do the same on the pass side separating the rca's and power wire will give you less chance of engine whine.
no affense, but was the "fatmat" necessary? i did the entire trunk of a car once, but thats because the trunk was sealed (trunk lid vibration). the reason trucks and suvs bump so nice is because they are open, thus less vibrating. if you know something i dont, i love learning new stuff (not trying to sound like a smart *** at all, just real into audio)

You'll still get resonance running through your sheet metal. It may not sound obvious at first, but by the time your system rattles loose some screws, it may already be too late. The sound deadening application doesn't just get rid of noise, it eliminates the extenuated vibrations through your cab that cause those problems. I wish I would've put some in my doors, but the system performs pretty good so don't fix it if it ain't broke.
