Default getting leveling lift for a 08 4x4 1500 any personal expericences? and nerf bars?

Looking at getting a leveling lift, can anybody throw in some personal expericens:? I'm looking at getting the 4wheelparts one. Also need some nerf bars cause after I put the leveling lift on I am going to get 35's,and my 8 yr old daughter has to damn near throw a grappling hook in the center console as it is to get in. I'm looking for some inexpensively priced ones, any suggestions, maybe a place to buy them?

As for nerf bars, i personally have "bully brand". I got em off ebay for like 170 shipped. Ive had em about 16 months and so far so good. From what ive read tho Westin is the better brand. Ebay would be the place to look for a fair buy.

read here for my experience with leveling kits. I'm taking mine out today to see if the shudder goes away or if it's one of dodges '08 4x4 unexplainable anomalies.

Since all my "lift" experience is with either torsion bar IFS or solid axle front ends, I'll leave the leveling of your coil over front end question to those who've done it.
However, as far as the Nerf Bars go, I'll say this: I've had four different sets through the years, two Westins and two other brands. I've had pitting, flaking and step pads flying off issues with both the "off" brands. I've NEVER had an issue with either set of Westins I've had...

Don't be tempted to get the 2.5" level, that's the one that causes all the shuddering. You'll have no issues with a 2" kit. There are plenty of places to get them from and the last place I would buy parts from is 4wheelparts. That place is a rip off. As far as nerfs, i like the mopar ones the best.

i have the 2.5" tgc kit (topguncustomz.com) and have had no problems. i still havent used 4x4, but im not worried about it. as far as fitting 35's do a search and youll find if your trying to do 35's with stock 20 inch rims youll have issues. you will need spacers/adapters. some have issues with rubbing some do not.
