Well i had time this weekend and put my HIDs back in and both of my headlights are working! I cant stand to have a light bulb out and not fix it so im glad they are back on. Im gonna leave them like that until there is a recall or something because paying over a grand to get it fixed is ridiculous

After hours of checking the wiring, they reset the computer and the tipm and it's worked ever since. Please, please report your complaints to be placed on the recall list and hopefully after several complaints with the same issue, we might get a recall notice. I get auto updates sent to my E-mail after filing my complaint months ago and each time I keep thinking I'll see the tipm listed. I have a feeling that if we don't hurry and get a recall, we will all be ineligible due to the mileage. I don't know about each of you but I put serious miles on my truck and I am hoping the room is recalled before my mileage gets too high!
I asked my dealer about a Flash for the TIPM and he said there wasnt one. What ever Im so done with dealers. We know more then any dealer will ever know. If I could aford a Star System or the new Wii I buy it.
Hope to get a recall. What else can we do??

Well I wasted $100 for an "attempted" reflash. Sorry says the stealership, it will be 918.00 plus tax to replace the TIPM. "we do them all the time."
I am so mad, i will never buy another Chrysler product. I want to sell this POS, any suggestions how I can "make the light work". I am in Canada so I have no daytime running light (high beam bulb) and no low beam. Someone mentioned installing HID's solved the problem, will this work??

It worked on my truck. Like I mentioned in my previous posts. I had HIDs on for three years and told myself I wanted a change. Took'em off installed the stockers and thought a bulb was burned (driver low) tried another and nothing. Did some research and came to the conclusion my truck had this, for the reason being i have an Edge Juice w/A2 and scanned my truck and reset codes and still nothing. It would have been a waste of money to take it to the dealer for them to tell mesomething I already knew so I Put my HIDs back in and both of my headlights are runnin.

Glad I could help. I reckon my HIDs are from HID USA. Great product.

Went to the dealership and had my multi function switch replaced. Asked them to look into why my drivers low beam was not working. They wanted to charge me $125 just to look at it. I asked them about updating and flashing my TIPM if they might fix the issue. They told me "we checked and there are no updates, there is no way that is the problem and don't believe everything you read on the internet'. I left. As I was driving home from work the following day I stopped at a random dodge dealership, told them I wanted to flash my TIPM and check for updates. Stood right there as the tech hooked up a laptop. Flashed and updated the TIPM and now my drivers low beam is back on. They also didnt charge me.

They are criminals. ispent the 100.00 to they a reflash. Was told they replace them "all the time". Told me the only way to get the light working was to spend 1100.00. I decided to run a jumper from one light to the other as a last ditch effort...and it works. time to sell or trade this POS. sorry Ram lovera but i will never touch another Chrysler product. once had a Durango and it was everybit a piece of garbage.

I totaly agree with you for not wanting to own a dodge or chrysler product as I have my own set off issues at play.

My right low beam had also quit working, i switched bulbs from side to side and the right bulb was working on the left side and the right bulb was not working on the left side.

as I was backing my truck into my drive way, to get off the streat, the F ining right drag link fell off the hub, so needless to say I was not worried with my head lights on that day.

After my truck was repaired, I checked all the fuses, they were good, conections good, but due to drag link issue, I did not properly install the bulbs back into head light lens.

Than I had no front head lights.

I bought a pair of ultra stars to replace the ultra stars that replaced the mopar philps bulbs and to my surprise head lights worked on booth sides, I had a sob of time with the clips on the socket ends (uncliping the right blub) but to my surprise the new bulbs are working fine.

It may be worth a try to re set the coumputer by pulling off the batery cables, Im sure this has been tried, not sure if this helps.
