Default is my thermostat stuck ?

its been really cold here past few days about -22 F without the windchill -40F with the wind chill. my truck has been plugged in and i went to go out today and i my truck ran and drove for about 10 minutes and my temp gage was reading just about half way which it has never done before and my truck wasnt blowing any hot air is this just something as simple as my thermostat being stuck or do i have bigger problems ? all of my lines were warm and it didnt appear that there was any ice in my over flow tank so im realy hoping something didnt freeze up in one of the lines. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks guys

Default i am not sure

but, if your thermostat was stuck, it would be stuck closed, and your truck would overheat pretty quickly. it might be low on coolant. if there is not enough coolant, and it would be really low at this point, your heater would not blow hot air. so i know how it sounds, but check your antifreeze level, if thats not it, i dont know.

Not good. Heating to fast and no heat from heater means your coolant is freezing... Get it in a garage before something really bad happens. Then flush and get some better coolant in it.

Sounds to me like your coolant is shot or the ratio of water to coolant is way off, too much of the H2O...
