rough country 6 inch lift

Yeah its not too much difference it has to do a lot with how you drive. But when you start driving 75 and 85 you drop to 13 or 14

well you'll drop that low anyway even with 3.55 gears the most effiecent speed in most cars and trucks is usually 60 mph

With the 6" Rough Country lift, are the shocks bigger than stock in the back? And I already have extended shocks in the front, would I have to replace them as well? They are ProComp ES3000's and I would much rather have them over the rough country shocks.

the lift comes with the nesecary shocks. I chose to upgrade to the rancho 9000 just take a look at their site and email their guys always seem to be helpful with me

yeah thats a good idea maybe i'll buy the rough country one and just buy some other shocks probably still be cheaper then any of the other lifts and then i'll still have four extra brand new shocks just in case now ive just gotta find somewhere in canada that sells the rough country lifts so i dont have to deal with shipping them does anyone know if rough country is made in america cus if so that would be great it would save me alot on duty coming across the border

yeah seems to be the main complaint on the lift so i'll probbaly just upgrade to a different shock company and still save a few hundred im sure. They've been in the business like 30 years i think and ive never heard anyone say there stuff broke so for the money i dont think it can be beat

When ordering the lift you can upgrade the shocks for like 35 bucks. To the ones I have Rancho 9000's

So yes the lift is a good lift for what you pay. If your just driving around the city and some dirt roads I would probably go with the rough country. Now if your going off-road off road you can still do the rough country lift but I would suggest to get some different shocks. They do ride a bit stiff but it's not stupidly stiff. I have a 2002 3rd gen with the 6inch lift and it's nice for what i do. I do have a 2wd but what I do is I just got a wench. Works like a charm when you get stuck and its funny to see the guys with 4x4 get pulled out by a 2wd truck. I'm 18 so I can't afford a 4x4 especially in this time.
