o ya my mistake is it sold axle but with coils, you would have to make a big *** coil to compete with leaf springs. who buys a truck for great handling and a cushy ride? Not trying to come off as an *** but just dont see it. im just too old school i guess

"options, equipment, and passengers must be deducted" Sure the truck can hold 1850 pounds so can a 1989 ranger. just like chevy is advertising max payload at 2150 for their 1500. If you go and specify by model, the max I am seeing with a 150 pound driver is 1580.

Same goes for your truck...just because it has leafs doesn't mean everything doesn't have to be deducted.

you might think the suspension cant handle a load but i rode in an 09 in the back for 8 hours and the truck was loaded to the hilt with hunting gear and a rhino and 4 wheeler and that suspension made the ride AMAZING so dont bash it unless you have riden in it countryboy it blows the others out of the water and why not get a nice ride when you can unless discomfort makes you happy
