Angry poppin, backfirin, and has no acceleration

i got a 2002 ram 1500 4x4 360 it is runnin like ****!!! it will idle fine but once u start to accelerate it starts poppin and joltin when im drivin it i feel like im on the back of a bull!!! it jerks like crazy i dont know wut to do!!!! im thinkin its the o2 sensors either that or fouled out plugs!!!

help me before i set it on fire and push it dow a hill!!!

First of all, Dont push it down a hill, Ill take it off your hands for free.

Pull the codes.... Air, Fuel or fire, Your problem is a lack of one of em, The codes or lack there of will send us in direction we wanna go.

Just a thought here. Check your exhaust system. I had a Camaro with a broken weld in the exhaust that did exactly the same thing. Probably seems like it would be obvious, but you never know.

You might want to post this up in the second gen section. Someone else may have had this problem over there. If you do post over there, tell them I said third gen rules!!!

sounds like a throttle positioning sensor.

I have a 03 qc 4x4 with the 5.9 magnum. I had the same problem and it was a bad plug wire. It came up as a multi cylinder misfire and only under load did it pop and hesitate. New wires fixed the problem! Also when this happened the cel blinked but did not stay on. Hope this helps.

thats the problem i dont have any codes or a cel i jus got a new computer put in it because it was a recalled!! i thought it was the problem but it is still doin it and i dont now why!!!

if it was the tps i would have problems at idle wouldnt I !?!?! because im fine at idle it is just under acceleration!!!

thats the problem i had it scanned at advanced auto and it read no misfires it does it the worst goin about 40-45 turnin bout 2 grand and then trying to accel from that is when its the worst!!! do u think u can help me!!!

Ive got the exact same problem with my Z71 vortec at the moment. Its a bitch to start as well. I fitted plugs. Now I've got new leads, cap and rota coming tommorrow. Hope it will fix it.
Suggest you do the same.
