Delay in throttle
I started to blow off that thread to, until I kept reading...
obviously since I have an 04 I've not done this, but I've read posts by guys who've done it and run over 50k miles with no ill effects... It's pin #10 in the tranny control box, a yellow wire with green stripe if I'm not mistaken.
You can do a Google search, it's called the TMR mod. You'd prolly nail a few hits...

yeah I found it on one of my other forums, a little more technical one than we tend to be here.
If your truck has both a PCM on the firewall and a TCM (silver box near the PCM, bolted to the inside of the fender) then you pull the one and only connector off of the TCM, pull out the cable holder, and pull wire #10 the yellow with green stripe. You can pull it out and put the entire connector assembly back together and hook it back up. This way you can put it back without cutting.
So I was pretty much right. Also note, this guy came back in a later thread and stated he cut .4 off his 1/4 mile time after this mod. That's huge!!!

I am running the 93 octane tune with MDS on now on my 08. No signs of detonation and it seems to have very little torque management removed. It still backs off during shifts, which I don't mind. It still has the annoying TM so that when you floor the throttle, it will make more power if you back off the pedal to about 3/4 or so. I hate having to play with the gas when merging into traffic when towing 7500lbs. It does this empty or loaded and has since new in stock tune, 91 octane and 93 octane tunes.
I am getting the best mileage with the 93 octane tune.

I did the TCM #10 wire mod to my 03 2500 Hemi and it definitely made a difference in the shifting from 1st to 2nd but only at WOT. All other rpm's are still sloppy shifts. I ordered and installed a Transgo HD shift kit only to find out 1/2 way through the install, the guy sent me the wrong kit.
But that is another story.
Here is the where the TCM is located. It is mounted to the fender and not the firewall.

Remove the mounting screw from the center...

Look for the yellow w/ green strip wire. It should be located on pin #10. You then remove the red pin holder from the center...

And then pull that wire out...

Tape it off nice and hook it all back up. By doing it this way, you can always place the wire back in and you won't have to solder it together.
