I wish my truck got those numbers. I'm getting 9.9 on the overhead right now. Down highway around 12 against a little wind. 15 in damn near perfect conditions. I have dual exhaust with a 70 series Big Block Flowmaster and a K&N CAI. So I'm getting bad mpgs on my HEMI.

Teacher, did you purchase an e-fan or did you make your own? I could swear someone said that you made your own. If so, do you have any write-up on that?

Some of the dirtiest filters i've seen are on vehicles that have a cleanable filter...a lot of people don't clean them. That could be part of your problem, flowmasters flowing around stock numbers also doesn't help. And then there's driving habit..

When test driving the truck, my mpgs were actually seeming pretty nice. Got the truck, then cleaned the filter that day, because it was dirty. No gain in mpgs. I've changed out oil and just cleaned the K&N not that long ago, and still getting bad mpgs. Getting a tuneup done on it in about 2 weeks. I hope I can get some better numbers then.
