So you mean premium is actually cheaper in price than the regular, or do you mean cheaper as in not as good quality?

I wish premium was the same price as regular here. Premium is around .40 more here than regular. But, I don't go to the cheaper places, I try to stick to brand name stations like Sunoco, Shell, Mobil, etc. But even at the cheaper places, while the gas may be a few cents less, the difference in price between 87,89, and 93 (some places have 91, but most don't) is the same as the brand name stations.

I have all stock motor, 17" Tires, 3.92 gears. im getting 15-25 mpg on the highway with the 4.7 @ 60-65 mph. i'd love to get bigger tires but think i will stick with the 265's for now after reading what your all getting.

Ridinhigh, Is the truck in your sig the same one you are driving? If so, It is pretty close to the same truck I am driving and there is no reason you should be getting that much less mileage than me, Somethings wrong.
Its the same truck and when I drive with the stock intake I can hear it sucking in air and it seems pretty loud and I am wondering if there is another problem because I should be getting the better gas mileage as well I am going to check the filter tom and see if everything is okay but it is really starting to bug me about the mileage as I know it should be doing at least 12mpg. Could there be something wrong with the fuel maybe its using to much and a result for the bad gas mileage

And for those who say do the math it always comes out worse than the overhead and I want to see if I can fix it because I am going out to colorado in a couple weeks and want it to be running fine

maybe try getting one of those good aftermarket fuel pumps, on the show trucks they put one on a 2500 cummins with big tires and a cai and it got a 2mpg gain with the new pump...just a thought.

Maybe you should look into some mods to help out your mpg?

Are you talking about that fuel catalist? I saw that one and I've been thinking about getting one my self.

Where are you fueling up, I always assumed they were all the same, However there is a connoco here that seems to have something wrong with it's fuel (Off Kearney). Everytime I buy fuel there to use on my mower I have to completely re-do the carb to get it running again after the first mow. When I get fuel elsewhere mower works just great. I have proven this theory 4 times over, Over about a years time. Anymore I usually fill up at Kum&go or Sams, Haven't had any problems at there stations.

Yeah, these little cars really do seem attracted to our shiny bumpers. I was thinking of reinforcing my rear bumper just today. I have been lucky though, So far no one has rear ended me yet. I saw a guy just yesterday in a little corolla pull right in front of a semi doing 40mph, The semi had to slam his breaks just to keep from killing the person. I try to stay back from the people in front of me, Gives me room to speed around them when they slam there breaks to make a complete stop just to make a right hand turn, Then turn on there signals. My biggest problem seems to be that I can't seem to see these little cars behind me sometimes.
