alot of people say that all gas comes fromn the same place but i think its bull****. its not worth buying gas from shady stations, you never know what your getting.

as for the fuel injector cleaner, if youve never used it you might want to do a a bottle or two for good measure, i just used a bottle and it seems to have made a slight difference in power.

and as for the cai and mpgs, i dont think they do much at all, its more of a power increaser. although i havent been able to tell with mine cause i put in on around x mas so i havent used it in warmer weather yet.

What plugs are you using? I heard that some plugs and wires don't work well with these trucks.

I have the fitch fuel catalyst in my truck and honestly right now I haven't noticed anything really. Maybe cuz I used regular. If the truck needed premium I may notice a difference better. when the weather gets better and we get summer gas back I'll definately let you guys know how it is

I do believe that it works though because on horsepower tv they tested it on a crate engine and it got a few more horses and used less fuel, go on the fitch fuel catalyst website and you can find the video

I try to stay back from the people in front of me, Gives me room to speed around them when they slam there breaks to make a complete stop just to make a right hand turn, Then turn on there signals. My biggest problem seems to be that I can't seem to see these little cars behind me sometimes.
Hell, I wish it was little cars. The last one was an 08 avalanche. And FYI for those thinking those are neat trucks, you might be interested to know that at a low speed collision (10MPH) it completely demolished the front end on it. It busted the radiator, bent the front frame connection back into the belt pulleys, and prolly did some other damage that I didnt stick around to see.

V Scapes, I know off topic, however, I really really like the color of your truck.

have you changed your t stat? better mpg the hotter the engine runs

try using your block heater at nite, realy noticed on my truck when i started to plug it in, takes less time for the engine to warm up (warm engine = better mpg)

try to reset your computer by unpluging the battery for a few minutes then reconecting it

also check your tire pressure, when going on long trips try inflating your tires by 2-3 psi

make sure your brakes arnt draging or holding up

everybody here seems to be blaming poor gas instead of offering different way to improve efficincy of the vehicle

i couldnt find the other thread for this, but its still related. my truck is lifted, as is in the sig with 3.92's.....I read a quote from Hammer the other day about the hemi having a "sweet spot" for mpg's between 2000-2300 and realized i am always cruising below this from not regearing after the lift n stuff. so, i have been driving around with towhaul on, which puts me at about 2200/65mph on the highway. that was the trick, towhaul off and my mileage skyrocketed because i was too low rpms and it was just bogging and sucking more fuel. hope this helps some of you, i cant believe i never tried it before. btw, i have been getting a steady 17-18 the past two days driving about 30 mi each way on the freeway now.....
